Comments
I snowsnowed to the beaver ponds on Broads breaking trail much of the way. The snow ranged from a bit damp or heavy on both the lower trail and on the sun drenched upper trail at the beaver ponds.
The snow was well behaved along the trail with no signs or sounds of significantly instability. In fact, the snow was creamy and very good foe snowshoeing once the legwork was done and I headed back down trail.
I could see evidence of wet release or sluffing on Bonkers and Divong Board (see pictures).
I spoke with two aweosme skiers who had considered naming Bonkers when I spoke with them on the trail. When I saw them at the beaver bonds they'd elected to bag it for today. The snow was heavy on the area on Vonkers clearly unstable.
