Got to the top of the 2nd chute skiers left at Rocky Point this morning after skiing another line where the snow felt stable. It was evident there was a weak layer underneath the new snow that was unstable. I was able to trigger a small slide that moved down the chute most of the way. Not big enough to bury someone but would certainly have knocked you off your feet. I belive it was likely a combination of new and wind affected snow. Be safe out there!
