Comments
We came upon this wind slab avalanche on the southern end of the Uintas. This was not a large slide, but had a lot of debris. The slide was quite deep with a max depth of 4'. It also stepped down just below the upper portion of the crown. One of the interesting things about this is that today was the 4th day of high winds from the east and northeast. This slide was on the windward side of the slope. See photo 2 below for annotations about the size.
