Snowboarder triggered a wind slab pocket at the top of one of the west facing chutes off of Mt. Wolverine. Most of the wind slabbing we observed hiking around were shallow and fairly bonded. This pocket below some small trees broke easily and much deeper than we expected. Rider was far down slope by the time snow started moving.
