Observed this wall-to-wall avalanche that must have occurred during the storm. Connection across ridges is impressive. So is the debris pile. We saw it on Super Bowl Sunday.

Ambler Notes:
Up in Maybird today and saw a crown which looked to extend from small pass at the base of the N ridge of the Pfiefferhorn to the west facing north ridge off no name baldy. I don't know if this was all one slide or multiple sympathetic releases. Either way, absolutely massive avalanche activity in upper maybird mid storm. I did not get close but I assume this is new snow sliding on old faceted snow. Debris and crowns were covered with new snow and had some new dry loose activity coming off of the NE face of Pfiefferhorn.
