Comments
Around 2:30pm Jan 16, I noticed an avalanche across the canyon while I was on my way to some mellow meadows in the Willow Fork area. The avalanche looked fresh, but I am not sure when it occurred. My best guess on the aspect was E, but it is likely somewhere between SE - NE. There were some tracks (also seemed fresh) on the ridge above that leads to Mats Basin, however it did not seem like any of the tracks ran directly into the avalanche path. Perhaps a remote trigger.
