Comments
A natural avalanche hit crossed and closed Highway 89 in Logan Canyon early this morning. A vehicle was involved, but cercomstances are unclear at this time. The canyon remains closed this afternoon as UDOT assesses the avalanche hazard.
The slab avalanche of wind-drifted snow occurred on a west-facing slope at around 6000' in elevation.
