Comments
3 very large natural avalanches observed on Ben Lomond after todays storm. Debris pile appears to be 200' to 300 feet wide and over 20 feet deep. 2 locations appear to have run below the BST biking trail and power lines.
Comments
I went over to North Ogden on Sunday (4-2-23) and was certainly impressed by these huge and long running natural avalanches. The light was horrible, and the photos do not really do justice. The Ogden area picked up tons of new snow is the days prior to the time the avalanches ran on early Friday morning. (toby weed)
