Weather and Snow
Current Conditions: No significant change in conditions. Highs have been in the mid 30s F˚ and lows in the 20s with light wind from variable directions. The snowpack continues to turn to sugar through the faceting process.
Mountain Weather: Benign weather continues with scattered clouds, highs in the mid 30s, lows in the 20s and light to moderate speed wind from the south. A very minor weather disturbance may move through New Year's day with a very slight chance for snowfall. Otherwise, no significant storms are in sight.

Description
The snowpack continues to become weaker through the near surface faceting process. That said, the snowpack is currently stable and human triggered avalanches are unlikely. It is almost enivitable that we are going to see dangerous avalanche conditions once more storms add snow on top of our weak snowpack.
