Superficial wet loose point release slide on the south side of west desolation ridge running from steep rock band into bear trap. Observed from the top of the cone- roller balls, small wet releases running into thick aspen groves and one larger release that fanned out a bit. Good reminder of a little bit of dense snow that could send you where you don't want to go. Result of rocks heating up in very strong sun today, no tracks in area. Photos taken around 5:30pm.
