Comments
The steep, north-facing slope at the top of Short Swing avalanched. I'm unsure if it was a natural or remotely-triggered avalanche. I had passed through this area on Thursday and the slope hadn't avalanched, so I'm assuming it occurred Thursday night or Friday. This was not a big avalanche (size 1.5) and I have seen larger avalanches on this slope. Adjacent slopes had some wind-loading, so I'm guessing this slope was also wind-loaded.
