Comments
While skinning on the wilson ridgeline we remotely triggered a relatively large D2 avalanche in the wilson chutes. The slide was triggered from around 100 ft away, but cracking was observed along the entire wilson chute face moments before the slide occured. We couldn't safely get to the northeast aspect to dig a snow pit, so we were unable to determine the exact depth of the crown and which layer the avalanche broke on.
