While walking on the narrow ridge just above the ramp in Thomas fork, we triggered two avalanches from the ridge. Both of these broke about 5-7 feet away from our feet on the steeper slopes draining north. We did not see tracks in the basin below. We saw widespread avalanching with the new snow from the heavy precip this morning. We also saw a few older, deeper slides around Thomas Fork.
