Numerous recent avalanches in Pleasant Creek. Lots is unknown about the history of what has happened in Pleasant Creek this year due to avalanche danger not allowing safe travel. Path #1 can reach the road but did this avalanche did not. Path #2 hits the road once a season on average. It did not hit the road during this cycle as best as I can tell. Path #3 does not show any fresh fracture lines indicating that it perhaps has not slid yet. It may have avalanched earlier on and has been filled back in. This is probably the most dangerous path to people using the road to access the upper canyon because they can trigger this from the road. Path #4 is probably the most notable avalanche in Pleasant Creek from this cycle. Path #5 released pretty large. This is the site of a snowmobile fatatlity in 1998. Path #6 released also. This is good to know because this path threatens people who use the Skyline Drive route along the top of the canyon.
