bottom line

The avalanche danger is LOW to MODERATE today. There is a slim chance that a person might trigger an avalanche breaking into deeply buried surface hoar in the more sheltered and steep terrain. Freshly formed wind drifts should always be a concern. Only put one person on a steep slope at a time and clear the avalanche runnout zone at the bottom.

State Road 31 is closed at the top of Fairview Canyon at the junction with State Road 264. Huntington Canyon also remains closed. Snow removal continues today and the road will re-open later today or Tuesday.
