Since we are not fully staffed, we are issuing information only without danger ratings. The snowstorm has hit northern Utah hard with 42 inches of snow reported at Powder Mountain, 30" at Monte Cristo, 20" at Ben Lomond and Alta has a measly 11 inches so far. Observers report that many people were skiing and boarding yesterday at Snowbasin and all the observations we received reported good riding conditions on 2-3 feet of new snow, no one hitting rocks and the snow was mostly stable.
