I noticed this avalanche in the Silver Fork Headwall / Far sk right West Bowl from a distance. No camera, just iphone pic with some post processing.
It looks to be about 2' deep and 350' wide as measured with Google Earth. Reporting as I haven't seen any other info on this one but lots of tracks in the area and I suspect someone out there knows how and when this was triggered. The cornice in that zone is Jumbo size so this could easily be a NC or AC trigger. Definitely fits into the pattern of wind-exposed, upper elevation N thru E aspects (although aspects run the whole gamut), SS avalanche like we have seen throughout the range from this last avalanche cycle.
